McDonalds Flying Car
McDonalds wanted to reignite the child like wonder and magic of its restaurants. Using the family led tagline ‘Good Times’ we were given an idea from another agency to work with. A voice changer at the McDonalds drive thru. Wanting to make the activation bigger and better, we decided that we wanted to really do something magical at the drive thru to excite and engage our customers.
What would be more magical than a flying car?
Using a drone powered car, we parked it up in a McDonalds drive thru and had unsuspecting families drive up behind, (the parents were in on it) we then captured the kids and parents reactions to the car in front paying for their meal and taking off into the air!
This turned for a localised small activation to a fun and magic brand piece that was very popular on Mumsnet and Facebook.
